Recently, we played a new game which called “tug of war”. I think it can be a new aspect or new face in the sports. It is much enjoyable sports than others. The sports were arranged in our office as fun sturdy.

1. There should be 3 members from each department.

2. There will be a maximum time limit of 10 minutes per game. (Depending upon the number of teams)

Cricket News on India VS England Match

Currently, we are in the mid of India Vs England cricket match. The cricket news has brought most interesting game for sports fan. In the previous match which was held in Indore at 17th November, 2008; was most interesting when Yuraj Singh given a right direction for Indian team.

He was the Yuraj Singh who turned the match graph with taking 4 wickets for Indian team. It was the second ODI with England when Yuraj Singh shows his marvelous bowling.

Cricket news shows that the 1st ODI match with India Vs England was Friday, 14 November, 2008. The match was held in Rajkot. In this match Gautam Gambhir and Sehwag added 127 for the Indian team. The 1st match winner was India as well as 2nd match with interesting over.

3rd ODI match will be held 20, November, 2008 in Kanpur. Fourth is Jamsedpur on 23rd November, 2008. Fifth match will be held in Cuttack on 26th November, 2008 and 6th match has been decided to held in Guwahati on 29th November, 2008. Lastly, there are 7 matches in the series and it will be arranged in Delhi on 2nd December, 2008.

I think the series is last for Indian team of the year. It has been recognized as India vs England 2008-09 Cricket Series.

Already, two matches have been won by Indian team and there are more 5 matches have to play. Let’s see what happen in next matches while Indian cricket fan are very aggressive with the series.

Twenty – 20 Cricket World Cup Award

At last India got the award of Twenty – 20 world cup match. The match was played under the captainship of Mahender Singh Dhoni from India. 1st time the world were collaborate for the twentry20 over matches.

Basically, the match originated was in England which is the country of Cricket origins. The match 1st time were played in England also between England and Wales Cricket Board in 2003. In the Twenty20 cricket game the batsman have only 20 over to play that game.

1st Twenty – 20 world cup trophy were played in South Africa in 2007. In the final India and Pakistan played very aggressively to defeat each other but lastly the world cup award India got after having win the match.

World wide the Twenty20 matches trophy were famous from 2005 when Australia played the match in WACA ground. To see the match about 20,700 people were gathered there.

Rules of the 20 - 20 match is very high that is why most of the people criticized its but the match has been liked by almost all people because it takes less time. I think now, it is the most famous in the cricket world. After the world cup of 20-20 India played it in its own ground with the world's best players.

Anil Kumble announced their retirement from Cricket

The last day of the third test at Kotla when the Anil Kumble announced their retirement from Cricket. In this match Kumble was caption so he had to handle the match properly after all the criticism. Indian cricket fan were very angry on Kumble due to defensive captain ship.

In the records of Kumble there are more than 600 wickets in test. Kumble came in Indin cricket as an spinner bowler like Rajesh Chauhan.

In 8 November 2007 Kumble became a test caption of Indian cricket team. After playing very successfully he retired on 2 November 2008. His last match was against Australia in Delhi, Kotla which is favorite venue of Anil Kumble.

All these happened very quickly. The news was not known by anyone. It was very socked for Indian cricket team.

I think Anil Kumble took the decision after the retirement of Saurav Ganguly. Ganguly has also resigned the International cricket some days before.

One of the great batsman of India became now world's great batsman. He is Sachin Tendulkar from Maharashtra, India. Sachin Tendulkar is known as Master or the Master Blaster batsman of India. Here I am talking about Sachin Tendulkar Cricket man because recently he is in light of world.

In the cricket history he is the man who broke the record of West Indies batsman Brian Lara's. In Mohali on October 17, 2008 Sachin Played test match in the against of Australia. He got score 12,000 runs and became 1st world champion in the cricket world. He is the 1st person who got the huge run.

Before it Sachin Tendulkar already made a record of 10000 runs in one day cricket match. In the cricket history no one can broke the Tendulkar record which who scored in his 20 years cricket career. After the score Sachin is now world's No.1 batsman.

During the test match Tendulkar announced that he will decide his resignation and currently he is not thinking about that.

The rumors was after the resignation of Ganguly Indian cricket player. Now, Sachin is determine to play one more world cup cricket match.

Saurav Ganguly Retirement From the Indian Cricket

Recently, on the 7th August, 2008 Saurav Ganguly has announced their retirement from the international cricket after the four series against Australia. It is big decision by Saurav Ganguly in the Indian Cricket team. Ganguly was a big player for the Indian cricket and played many matches under his own captain ship.

Ganguly said about his retirement, “This will be my last series. Before coming here, I spoke to my team-mates and hopefully I will go out with a winning knock.”

About the score and record of Saurav Ganguly he has 6,888 runs in 109 Tests with an average of 41.74 with 15 centuries.

After his retirement in the Kolkata cricket will loose some faith because all the Bengali society wanted to play more Dada no retirement now.

According to the wiki the idea about Twenty20 cricket match comes between 1988-2001. And it was introduced formally until 2003. 1st Twenty20 matches were played on 13th June, 2003 within English counties.

New Indian sensation Saina Nehwal continued her rampaging form and staved off the challenge of third seed Lin Zhu of China to cruise into the semifinals of the Chinese Masters Super Series at Changzhou in China Today.

The national champion & new sports star of India overcame a second game lapse to beat Zhu 21-16 21-23 21-18 in a high excitement match.

Saina Nehwal depended more on smashes to win points and quickly ran away with the first game. However, the Indian shuttler could not continue the momentum and the second game slipped from her fingers and match extended.

Saina then came back strongly and pocketed the third game to seal the match and set up a tough clash against Hong Kong's sixth seed Mi Zhou in Semi Final, who stunned top seed Lan Lu 10-21 21-13 21-14 in the other quarter-final.

Today, there is a cricket match also from Srilanka and in Indian cricket history there is another hero also for getting a top award “Khel Ratna” today who is Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Dhoni was started to play in Indian team as a new face but soon he was not new for world in cricket world.

Today, in President house Dhoni's father will receive the award of Khel Ratna which will be for Dhoni's best playing and captain ship. Before it Sachin Tendulkar was rewarded by the award. However, to get the award Dhoni will be not there because today 5th one day match with Sri Lanka will be played.

Overall Indian Performance in Beijing Olympic 2008

This was India best performance in Beijing Olympics. Abhinav Bindra won a gold in 10m rifle and Sushil Kumar won a bronze in freestyle 66 kg wrestling and Vijender Kumar lost in the semi-final of 75 kg middle-weight boxing at Beijing 2008 but still secured a bronze medal. Beijing marks the best Indian Olympic performance since Helsinki 1948 when it won a gold in field hockey and a bronze in bantam-weight wrestling. Abhinav Bindra won the first ever individual gold for India and three Indian boxer reached the quarter-finals with one reaching semi-final. Paes-Bhupati also reached the quarter-final of men’s doubles in tennis but break the hopes of all Indians and Saina Nehwal reaching quarter-final of women’s badminton was her greatest effort but unfortunately she could not won the medal. There were so many hopes for medal in Shooting events but nobody can perform best in Beijing.

Obviously, there are many things that can be done to improve the performance. Accountability for the sports administrator would be a good start. For the first time ever since 1928 India failed to qualify for field hockey for the Olympics. And that is our national game! KPS Gill has been the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) President since the past 15 years before his sacking and dissolution of IHF in April 2008. Indian Weightlifting Federation was banned for two years after the 2006 doping scandal at the Commonwealth Games. Only one weightlifter, Monika Devi, was allowed but then disallowed after she tested positive for drugs before it turned out that her tests were incorrect but by then it was too late for her to compete.

Another issue is that of infrastructure. In this case too the Indian government has got its priorities wrong. We always hear about a slew of rewards, land allotments, jobs for the medalists returning home. The four boxers from Bhiwani are being rewarded lakhs of Rupees by the Haryana government from the taxpayers money. However, if such money was invested wisely in the first place, we would be returning with more medals. Bcci has announced for rewards for medalist. If Indian Cricket control board have enough money then why could not provide facility for other game.

The 2010 Commonwealth Games are to be hosted in New Delhi and I hope that it will spur some positive initiatives to advance the cause sports in India. All we can hope our sports person will be fight back and give some surprise result at home condition.

Srilanka VS India 2nd Test Match

Today, the team India and Srilanka will meet for 2^nd test match in Galle. We know 1^st match of this series was in Colombo in Sinhalese Sports Club Ground on Wednesday, 23rd July – Sunday to 27th July 2008. In this match India was lost.

Now, in second match what will happen it will be decide after this match. In this match 3 series will be played. 3^rd test match will be held in Colombo also in P Saravanamuttu Stadium from Friday, 8th August to Tuesday, 12th August 2008.

From today 31^st July, 2008 is being played in Galle and will be continue on 4th August, 2008. The match is held in International Stadium of Galle. In this match probably Anil Kumble will play well because spinner for this match is well.

The match is important to win to get the series that is why both team are in well preparations. What happen next it will be decide after the match.

What a wonderful finish of Euro 2008. Really amazing, both team plays outstanding football of 29^th of June. But luck went with Spain. But my point of view Spain is true champion of this tournament.

Spain not loose any game in this Euro 2008. There was a only draw in quarter final match in fix time but there is also deserved a wonderful win in Penalty shoot out against World Champion Italy.

Spain midfielder Xavi Hernandez, who set up Fernando Torres for the only goal in Sunday's 1-0 final win against Germany, named as the top player at soccer's European Championship after helping to end his nation's 44-year wait for a major title.

I would like to remind you that in Semifinal Spain wash out of Russia 3-0 in an incredible style and while Germany beat Turkey in a excited thriller 3-2 win and went into final for the Euro 2008.

1st round of EURO CUP - 2008

Now 1st round of Euro cup drama has finished. There was a lots of unexpected result of during league matches. World cup runner crashed out in 1st round even he got last position in death group C. Even Croatia beat Germany & host Switzerland beat hot favorite Portugal 2-0. Before Starting nobody expected that France will crash out in first round of their lackluster performance.

Croatia is coming behind with a top class of performance and win all matches in his group and go to second round with group winner. In Group C Netherland also shown wonderful class of football and go into 2nd round with group winner. One more unexpected result in Group D. Sweden could not justify with his rank and crashed out from first round and Russia go into Quarter final with group winner Spain. Spain played brilliant football and win all league matches in tremendous fashion.

Now Quarter match has fixed. In fist match Germany take on Portugal, second match between Croatia & Turkey, 3rd quarter final match will be Netherland Vs Russia and fourth & Final encounter will be Spain Vs Itlay. I hope we can watch more outstanding soccer as well as unexpected result. Wait and watch who will win the prestigious Euro Cup 2008.

Trangular Series in Bangladesh

Last week ended a fantastic tournament in Bangladesh after IPL T20 in India. Almost every player of India and Pakistan had participated in IPL T20. But no one of Bangladesh players was in IPL. After a Twenty 20 fever there was first Match between host Bangladesh and Pakistan. In that match Pakistan shows all round performance in batting and bowling but Bangladesh is little bit aggressive with fielding. But finally Pakistan win the match.

In Second Match of Tri Series was between arch rival India & Pakistan. After a come back Sehwag played a brilliant knock of 89 and demorlise Pakistani Bowler as well as fielder.

With the help of Sehwag and Gambhir opening partnership India set a 300+ target for Pakistan. But a outstanding spell of Praveen Kumar never looked to near target. Finally Pakistan loose by match with huge margin of 140 runs after continue 13^th match wining.

In the last and final league match was between India and Bangladesh. As all we knew that India were favorites. Once again Sehwag & Gambhir played a outstanding opening partnership and India won the match easily and reached in final.

Now final match was between India and Pakistan. Due to present performance India was favorites. But when we looked in history India always loose final with Pakistan. Once again Pakistan maintained previous record of winning ratio in final match. Indian bowler fell to Pakistan restrict under 300 runs.and Pakistan made a 315. But Sehwag & Gambhir could not give a brilliant start like previous two match and Sehwag was out in early over of Tanwir. India loosed wicket in regular wickets thats why they could not maintain required run rate. In the end Dhoni try to accelerate the run rate but finally he could not succeed and loose their wicket and India loose match my 25 runs.

Overall that was a superb tournament after T20 and before Asia Cup!

Euro Cup you can say it – sixteen of Europe's top national football (SOCCER). It comes on every four years. In its sixteen teams participate. They are divided in to four groups. It is the play of football.

We know, Europe is the crazy for it like India. India was crazy for Cricket in IPL league. After it people will go with Euro cup.

In this sports Germany, Italy, Poland, Brazil and Austria will be on top because they have top level football players.

This is sports club and by it I can share my thought and news on sports. Todays, Sports is most famous and on it many batting is going on. In cricket, Football, Chess, Hockey, Tennis or any top level games like Athelits or commonwealth are famous in common people also.

Car racing, horse riding, snooker etc are on focus for batting. Now, in this field cricket and football are also going to be famous.

We will talk about recent cricket which was IPL. It is also on baiting and even in India there was 8 team in which all the famous plyer which is related to cricket were involved. They had been bought by bid. So, Now sports is not like that which was in early days.
